The Agency is a full-service, luxury real estate brokerage and lifestyle company based in Beverly Hills, Ca. and founded by Mauricio Umansky. It represents clients worldwide in a broad spectrum of classes, including residential, new development, resort real estate, residential leasing and luxury vacation rentals.

Since its inception in 2011, The Agency has redefined the business of real estate, modernizing and advancing the industry by fostering a culture of partnership in which all clients and listings are represented in a collaborative environment by all of its agents. This approach has proven highly successful. Four years after its inception, The Agency was L.A.’s most outstanding real estate brokerage, with 13 of their agents ranked among the top 250 realtors in the United States, To date, The Agency has closed more than $9 billion worth of real estate transactions and established itself as a preeminent player in the luxury real estate market, representing many of the country’s most visible and high-end properties.

The Challenge

In 2011, when Mauricio came to us, they were off and running and am growing rapidly.  Their office operations could not handle the workflow and was unorganized. Their inadequate tech and communications support is not uncommon to all startups... they were having networking difficulties, inadequate WIFI connections and snail like internet service which produced crashing phones, lost communications and inferior office management.

Discovery & Strategy

The task at hand was to first fix their immediate and essential tech and communication needs. Then we worked on a strategy to make their offices function more efficiently with flexibility, and customer friendly tools. They needed a versatile cross-device/browser platform/ solution that showcased and demonstrated the integrity of their brand and services.

The Journey

Obviously, as we have been working with them for over 8 years, our journey has been fruitful and successful. Their trust in us and our deep understanding of their business needs and objectives have created a superior working relationship that is ongoing.

Implementation

First- we upgraded their old, barely-acceptable technology and turned it into a strategic, reliable system that allowed their business to grow exponentially. Since then we've kept helping them with an array of tech and communication issues; from replacing their old VOIP phone system with a state-of-the-art Unified Communication voice solution.  

Now with their offices being all over the world, we are the backbone of their IT infrastructure managing their network, wifi, and internet capabilities.

Results

We have been in partnership with The Agency for 8+ years as their tech strategists and providers. When we started working with The Agency, they had one office with 15 people. Now their enterprise has more than 750 partners who are located across the globe and a 4 person in-house IT department that we supervise. The results have been astounding and we are proud that we are providing the WIFI phone system, internet, and network tool kits they need to run their company smoothly.
